Since the summer of 2021 I have been looking into taking down online malicious activity, including:
- crypto scams
- phishing
- malware
- fake stores
- …
In the first year everything went manual, sending out abuse reports to hosting providers and registrars and searching the web for malicious sites.
After that I started automating the process, combining data from multiple sources, using honeypots and encouraging people I know to send me emails and links that seems suspicious via [email protected].

Statistics can be viewed on https://file.jeroengui.be/stats.html
At the moment the data is being used by antivirus providers, government agencies, law enforcement and other instances to provide a better response to these online threats and keep people safe.
